Mindtend operates solely as a technology platform that connects individuals with independent therapists. We do not provide therapeutic services ourselves, do not supervise or monitor therapy sessions, and do not access, store, or process clinical therapy records or personal health information exchanged between therapists and clients.
Mindtend provides no clinical services, advice, or supervision. All therapeutic services are provided independently by qualified therapists who maintain complete autonomy over their clinical practice. Mindtend accepts no responsibility for the quality, safety, or outcomes of therapeutic services, and users engage with therapists entirely at their own discretion and risk.

We only collect data necessary to operate the Mindtend platform and connect users with therapists. This includes:

We do not use therapy session data or messages exchanged between clients and therapists.
Mindtend as data controller: We are the data controller for platform operations including account management, therapist–client matching, booking facilitation, payment processing coordination, platform security, fraud prevention, essential service communications, and usage analytics. Our processing is limited to administrative and operational functions and does not extend to clinical data, therapeutic communications, or health information.
Therapists as independent controllers: Therapists listed on Mindtend operate independently and are separate data controllers for all personal data they process in the course of providing therapy services. This includes clinical records such as session notes, assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and any health information. Therapists are solely responsible for:
Mindtend does not access, control, or have any responsibility for clinical data. For any data rights related to therapy records, please contact your therapist directly.
We use limited automation to suggest therapists based on your stated preferences and availability. These suggestions do not produce legal or similarly significant effects. You always choose your therapist, and no booking is made without your action. If we ever introduce solely automated decisions with significant effects, we will notify you in advance and provide safeguards including human review, explanation, and the ability to contest the decision.
If you choose to provide therapy topics/areas (e.g. anxiety, depression), this may reveal or infer health information, which is sensitive under data protection law. We process such data only with your explicit consent, solely to provide matching, and we minimise what we store. You may withdraw consent at any time in your account or by emailing us; withdrawal does not affect prior lawful processing.
